What is it?
The CoolTouch treatment, or CoolBreeze™, is a laser treatment that restores your skin's natural collagen without scarring or downtime. By targeting those layers of skin where collagen is formed, the CoolTouch laser enables your skin to rebuild itself, erasing wrinkles, acne, and acne scarring.
What happens?
You will be placed in a comfortable and relaxed position and given dark glasses to protect your eyes. The laser light is delivered through the special CoolTouch handpiece. At the same time you will be given a spray of protective coolant on the skin before each laser pulse. This is to allow the laser to penetrate harmlessly to the collagen-producing cells deep down in your skin.
The treatment takes just 10 to 20 minutes, and with no downtime you will be able to carry on with your day as normal.
How does CoolTouch treat acne?
Unlike other treatments that target only the bacterial causes, CoolTouch targets acne at its source. The laser penetrates to a level at which it can shrink oil glands, reducing their ability to produce acne, while still allowing for the production of healthy skin oils. Any acne scarring will be filled with your own natural collagen.
How long before I see results?
You will be given four to six treatments at monthly intervals, and will see satisfying results after five or six months. To maintain skin improvement, touch-up treatments every month or two will be of benefit.
